On this page we offer our Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 17 inch Wheel Blackout Overlay Kits in 8 colors – gloss black, matte black, white, silver, red, pink, yellow, turquoise. Our self adhesive vinyl overlays are made from high-quality Oracal 651 vinyl material, the best automotive vinyl in the industry. Our Tacoma TRD Sport Overlays are designed to fit the 17″ OEM Wheels 2016-2019 like the ones pictured below.

Before installing, wash your wheels and wipe down the application areas with isopropyl alcohol. This removes any residue on the wheels that may prevent adhesion.
Easy application using the wet method of decal installation- Mix a 16 ounce spray bottle of water with a quarter teaspoon of liquid soap. Peel decal from release liner and spray adhesive side. (avoid getting the paper backing wet) Slide into place and gently press out the water. A hair dryer can be used to make the vinyl soft and pliable, and also to evaporate the water to speed up the process. Heat also softens the vinyl on our full coverage kits so you can conform them over the edge of the silver area.
This is a full coverage kit and should leave little or no silver showing.
The Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport Wheel Overlay kit you will receive includes enough decals for 6 wheels (4 wheels plus 2 extra). This gives plenty of extra decals just in case. Shipping is fast and inexpensive. Normally via First Class Mail.

Third – Apply the decal to your wheel and slide it into place. Once it is in position, anchor it with one hand, and gently press out the liquid with your fingers or a cloth covered plastic squeegee.
Fourth – Use a hair dryer to heat the vinyl so it is more pliable. Heat lightly at first and dab away any moisture with a soft cloth. This will press out more liquid and allow the edges to bond better to the wheel and on full coverage kits. It will also let the vinyl bend over the edges and stick. Remember, heat lightly, then dab with a soft cloth, and repeat. As the liquid evaporates, you can press harder and go from side to side with a cloth or cloth covered squeegee.
Fifth – If there are any air bubbles in the decal, they will disappear over time, or you can use a fine needle to pierce the surface and release the air.
